Xiaomi announced on Wednesday, December 13 that the Redmi Note 13 5G series will launch in India during the first week of January. All three of the series’ models have a 16.7-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display and a 16-megapixel front camera. The Redmi Note 13 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC, whilst the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC.

The company revealed that the Redmi Note 13 5G series will debut in India on January 4 through a tweet and media invitation. The Chinese manufacturer has also made a landing page with details about the introduction of the Redmi Note series on its Indian website. Prospective customers can click the “Notify Me” option on the website to get the latest updates regarding the launch.

The Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ were all launched in China in September. All three models are expected to make their Indian premiere on January 4.

Redmi Note 13 series pricing (anticipated): In China, the Redmi Note 13 starts at CNY 1,199, or approximately Rs. 13,900, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro starts at CNY 1,499, or approximately Rs. 17,400. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ can be purchased for as little as CNY 1,999, or approximately Rs. 22,800. It is anticipated that the Indian version will likewise cost similarly.

A recent leak suggested the Note 13 Pro model’s price in Europe. The Redmi Note 13 Pro is expected to retail for EUR 450, or around Rs. 40,700, according to the leak, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ may cost EUR 500, or approximately Rs. 45,000.

Specifications of Redmi Note 13 series

The Indian variants of the Redmi Note 13 5G series may offer similar specifications to their Chinese counterparts. The Redmi Note 13 lineup runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14 and features a 6.67-inch 1.5K full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro model is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC. The vanilla Redmi Note 13 has a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC under the hood.

The Redmi Note 13 sports a dual rear camera unit, led by a 100-megapixel primary sensor, while the Pro model sports triple rear cameras led by a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). The phone has a 16-megapixel sensor on the front.
